A Mother's Day
By Kathryn Taylor
For all those mothers just like me,
Whose Mother's Day will be misery,
I pray that God will guard your heart,
When your RADlets seek to do their part,
In sabotaging your special day,
And do all they can to make you pay,
For all the blood, the sweat, and tears,
You've spent to help and calm their fears-
I know for certain you are the best,
And greatly deserve this special rest-
So don't let doubts and guilt creep in,
Or tell yourself you'll never win,
Just because our job's much worse,
And impossible to stay on course-
Think of the good and not the bad:
Only one in a million can mother..a RAD!!
