A Poem Just For You
When my daughter was first diagnosed, I was so desperate to find,
some answers, support, and people who were kind.
After searching and searching, much to my dismay,
I found nothing near or far away.
I came to see all the people here on this board,
just to squelch my fears and and follow the hoard,
The more I came and the more I read,
the more I realized I found a friend.
Her name is Suzanne. She started this site,
so others like her would not suffer tonight.
She is creative and careful, loving and kind.
She never gives up and won't leave us behind.
I cannot express how important she is to me,
but I must tell you, she has set me free,
Free from the guilt, anger, and pain,
a parent with RAD can gain.
I would like to thank her for spending her days,
creating a site where I find safety, sanity, and new ways to play.

My daughter's therapist kept suggesting I find a support group nearby but I have been unable to find anyone close. The other day she asked me again, and to my surprise I said "yes I have!" I told her all about you and the king and TLP. She said she was going to give your webpage addy to others around here who are also in need. I hope and pray they find your site and get the comfort and support that I find here.
