Heart to Heart

                  Do you even get me?

                         Do you understand?

                  I'm a good kid inside,

                          I do have a plan.

                   My heart says to behave,

                          It's important to be kind.

                   But my emotions disagree,

                          And don't want to mind.

                    Then I get in trouble,

                           I feel I'm always there.

                    It's not the plan to follow,

                           It's just NOT fair.

                    So, in order to help me,

                           You'll have to do your part.

                     To love the child inside of me,

                            You'll have to know my heart.
