Dearest Neighbor,
Sending my RAD daughter a card congratulating her on getting her picture in the paper was inappropriate. Your feeble attempts to make her feel special only make things worse for us.
You hint that we are bad parents and pretend to listen when we try to explain why we do things the way we do. We are under the guidance of her therapist who knows more about attachment issues than you could ever dream of. Forgive me if I listen to her rather than you.
Just to remind you, we have five kids. FIVE. Not one. If you are going to do something for one of my kids, you need to do it for all five.
You are only making this harder on us and her so please just butt out!
