To all my friends, neighbors, family, strangers, and other misc. people who see me interact with my RAD child and think I am being mean:
RAD children are different than other "normal" children. I cannot parent her the way that I parent my other children. If that seems wrong to you then you are welcome to try being her parent for a week. You will see she is not as loving and cute as you once thought.
I love my daughter as much as I love my other kids but I cannot treat her the same. She has many struggles they don't and she doesn't respond to the same incentives, disciplines, and tactics as they do.
I know it is hard to understand but please don't be judgemental. I am trying my best.
