All of the parents on this board who were strong enough, brave enough, loving
enough, caring enough, and maybe stupid enough to take on a child who otherwise
would have been lost in a system where no one cared what happened to them,
YOU ARE A STAR!
To all of the parents on this board who have felt angry, hurt, sad, disappointed, mad,
jealous, irritated, frustrated beyond belief, and furious all in the span of a few minutes,
YOU ARE A STAR!
To all of the parents on this board who have been happy, exhilirated, beaming,
excited, and cheerful all because your little RAD finally succeeded,
YOU ARE A STAR!
To all of the parents on this board who have wanted to give up but didn't,
who woke up and realized you did adopt "that" kid, who smiled politely at the
stranger who thinks your screaming kid is being abused by you, who explained to
the police for the umpteenth time that your child has some "issues",
YOU ARE A STAR!
To all the parents on this board, thank you for being here and letting me know that I am
not the only insane person in the world who decided to adopt a child who would rock
my world. Thank you for caring and trying to make one little life better and happier.
YOU ARE MY STAR!
