How do I know
what I think...
until I see what I say?

-E. M. Forster
WORDS

Without the existance of poetry...
Without one tear to cry...
In just one moments silence...
One word could pass us by,

Words drawn to perfection...
From the canvas of our mind...
Words left undiscovered...
Still longing for us to find.

Passion lies within our hearts...
With thoughts they can't perceive...
As we dare to tell the stories...
No other souls would breathe.

What's in a word... a poem... a song...
that awakens life within...
that takes us on familiar paths...
bonds us with new friends?

If our words ar left unspoken...
If in silence they remain...
How will we find that healing peace...
from the depths of inner pain?
